At some point, Sophie just bought two broken record players and repaired them DIY style herself. Spending a lot of time at punk and hardcore concerts in her youth she’s always preferred to simply make things herself instead of just consuming. In her long-time adopted home of Leipzig, 50PHIE has also played a key role in shaping the local scene. Be it as an organizer, employee, DJ or, above all, as a raver. She is part of G-Edit and DRIVE and has also been involved in booking the Nachtiville Festival since the last editions. 50PHIE is musically versatile and always manages to pack her bag with the right selection from her digital and analog collection. Since moving to Hamburg, 50PHIE has been active in the record store remoto rec extending her rather timeless than zeitgeisty collection.
